Really impressed by this place. The store was nest, clean, and well-stocked. Items were laid out in an attractive way. The staff were superb. Two customers in front of me were "special" people with particular expectations, but they handled them patiently. They helped me make a good decision on my food, which was great. They knew several customers by name and gave suggestions for what to pair with what. Jordan was the guy running the register _and_ making food, and he did so with charm, speed, and character. Really helpful people, clean place, great product and service. Would highly recommend.

Making a reservation is good. I went before the rush so it was ok. Of course, they had what I reserved. The prices are not low. It is the ham you want though. Everyone is polite and knowledgeable. My coupon didn't work, but they fixed it super quick, and I was not double billed for a cancel, refund, and re-bill. I always go here for the holidays!

I pre-ordered the half ham online, went to pick it up during pick up window and it was not ready. They hadn't even started it. They gave us another ham instead that turned out being super smoky and salty. There was not a hint of sweetness from honey. It was a definite let down from years past. This was the first time I used the Kennesaw, Ga location so could just be poor quality control and/or management. I would not recommend (this location anyways).

I’m sorry but why the actual heck am I placing an order for pick up at 5pm today 1.5 weeks ago, just to come in and 1. Their pick up system is horrible. 2. You are literally preparing it after the fact. They are literally take and bake, they should all already be prepared. Why are you pulling orders for everyone individually when people have all pre-placed orders? Just get them all picked out ahead of time, and have them in a pick up area in the fridge and/or freezer bagged up. I don’t understand why I’m waiting 25 minutes after I get there to get it. It’s ridiculous. People plan pick up orders to work with their schedule, and this really defeats the purpose of it. Thank you for listening to my rant :)

This review is only pertaining to their holiday (Thanksgiving) ordering system. So yesterday 11/21/23 I called the Kennesaw Barrett Parkway location and asked for a smoked turkey breast. The lady over the phone said “I did not have to pay and she gave me a confirmation number. She then told me that you will be OK. Just wait in line and you’ll be able to pick up your turkey. Next day 11/22/23, I go in the store and I’m waiting in line for about 15 minutes when a young woman who’s working at the door states “there’s no more ham or ham on the bone but if you have a confirmation number you should still be fine.” After waiting in line for 45 minutes, I get to the counter and Associate states there’s no more smoked turkey breast. We have to save some for the guest, who already pre-paid their order. My problem with the system is 1. What was the point of me calling in for an item and getting a confirmation. I do understand “IF The woman over the phone stated is not guaranteed that you will get the turkey we’re just holding you in place.” 2. Why isn’t there a separate section for the people who already pre-ordered so you can keep up with the inventory you have on hand instead of guessing. Because you’re guessing just wasted 45 minutes of my time. 3. People are waiting in line when you’re running out of an item it should be stated, while the people are standing in the line. So they can either decide to leave and not stay there and wait till they get to the register after waiting for 45 minutes. They have a terrible system in place for the ordering process at this location. So I guess the story is you should pre-pay online, but it still may not be guaranteed because if they under gas how many they have you will still be out of the item you came for and need a refund
